In the forty years Designer Decorator Two (DD2) has been operating, architecture and building compliance in NZ has become more challenging and complex. Our primary service is architecture. These changes have allowed both our directors and staff to become proficient in a wide range of fields associated with architecture. Working with local council today is crucial to obtaining consents, a process that can be frustrating for some clients. DD2 is the link to liaise with those authorities and get your project moving.

What has a marlin got to do with an architectural company you ask?
This was created by a gifted graphic designer many years ago when we were updating our signage, stationery, and business cards.
John has always and still does enjoy fishing. In the Eastern BOP big game fish are sought after and John mentioned that a marlin is a great project manager in the way they herd small fish into meatballs for food.
We wanted some vibrant colours in our new signage and thus the marlin logo was born. What a story! It's true and we love that marlin, so it has stayed.
